I am afraid of the Lake Erie night,

afraid of the shadows that it will bring.

I can not wait for mornings early light.

The dampness on the air gives me a fright.

Hearing all sorts of horrid creatures sing.

I am afraid of the Lake Erie night.

The moon overhead is a brilliant white.

Black waters seem to obscure everything.

I can not wait for mornings early light.

The shadows from the trees will hide my sight,

emotions will ride on the phoenix wing.

I am afraid of the Lake Erie night.

I am terrified of things that will bite.

Am mortified of a wolf like being.

I can not wait for mornings early light.

It seems this land has been sickened with blight.

Wish I could interrupt the demons' fling.

I am afraid of the Lake Erie night.

I can not wait for mornings early light.
